I was interviewed on the latest Mob Mentality Show, a podcast devoted to mob programming, also known as ensemble work or software teaming.
The three main areas we got into were:
- My approach to facilitating mob programming sessions, which is a bit different from what most facilitators do
- The neuroscience of psychological safety and how that relates to mobbing
- Team flow states and brainwave activity

- The SAFETY model that I discuss.
- Polyvagal Theory, which is a different safety model that I also find extremely helpful although not as immediately actionable as SAFETY.
- The brainwave study that I reference
- Learning from explaining, one of the studies that I referenced.
